With Bridget holding her hand, Brooke forced herself to say the words, "I was raped." Then, after crying in her daughter's arms, she rehashed how Andy had stalked and then attacked her. Bridget insisted they call the police, but Brooke was worried about Hope and RJ. She felt the canceled hearing was proof that her rape would ruin things. Bridget countered that Brooke wasn't ready for the hearing in this condition and gave her mother the business card of an anonymous health line for support. She wanted Brooke to come to the hospital to do a rape kit, but Brooke had already taken a shower. After holding her some more, Bridget took some blood for the lab, gave her a morning after pill and put her to bed. She asked Brooke to write everything down in case she decided to press charges in the future. Then she climbed into bed with her and held her, while soothing her with positive words. She cried once Brooke fell asleep and asked her sleeping mom to let her take care of her.
Donna and Thorne lay naked on the couch, but didn't spend much time basking in the afterglow before Donna brought up his meddling mom. "I will not let her abuse you the way she did Brooke," he promised and set out to tell mom just that. Donna suggested a different approach.
Joe the attorney told Ridge and Stephanie that the hearing was postponed because Brooke was "in distress, having a difficult time focusing." Stephanie saw it as an opportunity for them to move forward, but Ridge wanted to talk to Brooke first. He was surprised that she wasn't answering the phone, but that just gave Stephanie a chance to ridicule her again. Then Thorne and Donna arrived. While Thorne gave his brother a talking to about letting Stephanie turn him against Brooke, Donna asked Stephanie to help plan the wedding. Steph suggested the theme "When hell freezes over," and again accused Donna of using Thorne to exact revenge. Donna refused to be riled. When they joined the guys, Stephanie went into insult overdrive. Thorne refused to believe his brother thought Brooke was a danger to her kids, "not unless somebody was putting this idea in your head." Stephanie pointed her finger at Thorne and told him to shut it.

Brooke sat in shock, holding a picture of her kids and the letter opener with which she'd defended herself the night before. Then she worked with a security guy to set up a better alarm system. That's when she realized her spare had been taken, so had him change the locks. She also asked for an inconspicuous security guard. Then Dorothy showed up and her male assistant gave Brooke a fright. Dorothy asked her to explain her behavior the night before. She responded with anger and when the assistant tried to calm her with a touch, she panicked. After he left, both women apologized and then Dorothy postponed the hearing, because Brooke was scaring her. Brooke sat alone and stared at the kids' picture until Bridget showed up. When she touched her mother, Brooke jumped and Bridget immediately determined something was wrong. Brooke tried to explain her bruises away and talked about needing the kids, but Bridget pushed her to tell her who hurt her. "I can forget it. People forget," Brooke whispered to herself and Bridget figured out her mother had been raped.
Stephanie introduced Ridge to a custody attorney, Joe, who was not confident he could get full custody. Ridge made it clear he wanted the kids back with Brooke and rolled his eyes when his mother showed him the newspaper story about Brooke's date with Andy. Then Stephanie, having come to an inaccurate conclusion, said Brooke had taken Andy home. Ridge said he trusted Brooke as a mother, but asked Joe whether he had the right to investigate her men. That's when Dorothy called with news of the postponement. "Who did Brooke do now?" Stephanie quipped, but Dorothy didn't provide any info. Joe suggested they find out, since there may be something that would help Ridge's case. Ridge figured it would help to know the facts. Stephanie continued to smear the Logan girls while Ridge half defended them.
Thorne pulled Donna away from work for the hearing, but then she learned it was indefinitely postponed. She was sure Stephanie was behind it. Then she opened the gifts he'd brought for Brooke's kids and started playing with them in a very adult way. Cue sex on Jackie's desk.

After rolling off a crying and beaten Brooke, rapist Andy told her, "You were incredible, and you know I was, too." She crawled away and tried to cover herself while he straightened up the mess they'd made fighting. He toasted the "greatest sex of our lives," and liked it even better when she called it rape. "We're just getting started, honey," he said and challenged her to call 911 on the night before her custody hearing, swearing he'd play it off as rough sex. "You set me up," she guffawed and he called it the "opportunity of a lifetime." There was a knock on the door and it was child services. He pushed her to answer it and play it cool. Dorothy could tell Brooke was "in distress." Brooke tried to blow it off, asking for a ride to Bridget's, but Dorothy pushed. She said she wanted to see Brooke's kids back with her, "but it cannot happen if there is another problem in this house." That fed right into Andy's threats, so Brooke got rid of her. Then she grabbed her keys and tried to run, but Andy stopped her. When she brandished a letter opener at him, it only made the sicko hotter. He came at her, so she stabbed him and chased him out of her house. Then she turned on the alarm and barricaded herself in. In panicked shock, she went to wash the letter opener, but was too shaky and dropped it. She tore her clothes off and jumped into the shower, scrubbing herself ruthlessly. There was a noise outside, like a knock on the door, but she was in a state, desperate to get clean. She collapsed into the wall and held herself.
Nick paced around Taylor, who gave him the okay to check on Brooke. He admitted he was feeling worried and would go, but as he was leaving, she muttered that a husband going to check on Brooke was like déjà vu. Then she backpedaled and admitted she felt guilty for her part if Brooke's custody drama. She empathized with Brooke, having had a nightmare where the egg donor wanted to take their child away.
After Stephanie called Dorothy, who refused to give her an update on Brooke's custody case, Eric reprimanded his wife for trying to make this her battle, especially when "nobody else wants to fight." She told a false story about standing up for RJ and Hope the way no one stood up for her as a child. "She neglects them, emotionally," she insisted and the two went in circles. Eric said Brooke would never let a violent man near her kids. (Little did he know Stephanie had just sicked a dangerous man on Brooke!) They were interrupted by Dorothy, who asked if Brooke was a drinker, but also told Stephanie to get over herself. Stephanie suggested she check on Brooke again in the morning.
